Wondering whether bookshelf or floorstanding speakers are right for your room? This guide compares the advantages of each, explains how room size and listening habits affect the decision, and looks at Wharfedale's Diamond, EVO, and Elysian series to help you choose the best fit for your system.

Wharfedale’s Elysian R Series replaces all five models in the original Elysian flagship line, first introduced in 2020. Peter Comeau and the original engineering team returned to refine the platform rather than redesign it. Pricing holds steady, starting at $5,995 per pair.
