Across the range, newly developed long-throw drivers, carefully tuned cabinet loading and passive Auxiliary Bass Radiators work together to deliver bass that feels natural, substantial and easy to integrate.

Engineered for Depth, Speed and Control

At the heart of every NOVA subwoofer is a newly developed long-throw driver engineered to move substantial amounts of air while remaining composed and responsive. A rigid, lightweight coated paper cone combines low mass with excellent self-damping, supported by a heavy-duty die-cast chassis, oversized surround and high-excursion motor system.

A large-diameter voice coil improves power handling, while an aluminium shorting ring helps maintain linearity and reduce distortion. The result is low-frequency performance with definition and rhythmic accuracy — preserving the shape and texture of bass rather than reducing it to sheer impact.

Deep Bass, Without the Port

Rather than relying on a conventional bass-reflex port, NOVA uses a downward-firing, mass-loaded Auxiliary Bass Radiator. Working in tandem with the active driver, the ABR extends low-frequency output while avoiding the turbulence, compression and unwanted resonance that can accompany traditional ported designs.

The loading of each NOVA model is individually optimized for its driver, cabinet and amplifier, balancing the speed and definition associated with a sealed enclosure with the scale and extension of a larger reflex design.

Power Under Control

NOVA’s high-current Class D amplifier and DSP are developed as part of the complete acoustic system — not simply added to it. Amplifier, driver, cabinet loading and signal processing work together to deliver strong dynamic output while maintaining control as listening levels rise.

DSP-controlled dynamic EQ continuously supports that balance, preserving bass weight and extension at lower volumes while managing driver excursion at higher levels. The result is a subwoofer that can sound considerably larger than its physical footprint without losing its composure.

Designed to Disappear Into the System

The best subwoofer should draw attention to the music or soundtrack, not to itself. NOVA is tuned to behave as a natural extension of the speakers it accompanies, adding atmosphere, scale and low-frequency authority while maintaining a coherent overall presentation.

Adjustable crossover, phase and level controls make it easy to tailor the response to different speakers, rooms and system configurations, allowing NOVA to move from subtle reinforcement to full-scale home cinema when required.
